NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR THE KIDS OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Nominations for the Year 2002 Kids of the Year Awards will be accepted from November 1, 2001 through January 31, 2002.
Anyone may nominate a candidate for The Kids of the Year Awards, in keeping with the following:
Candidates must be between the ages of 5 and 15 in 2002, and be a resident of Washington County, Utah.
They should be a person who has done something unusual,
exciting, or adventuresome, and live in a way that shows they're excited about life and have decided to make the
most of theirs.
Seven winners will be chosen by independent judges. Portraits of the winners will be taken by award-winning photographer,
Bonnie J. Bracken, and will be on display at various locations throughout Washington County during the year. Stories and portraits
of the winners will be printed in the Spectrum newspaper and will be displayed on the "Kids of the Year" web page.
Winners will be presented with an award certificate and a beautiful 8 X 10 custom designed portrait as a gift.
All of the other children nominated will be presented with an honorable mention certificate.
